For 40 years, The Children’s Cabinet has been dedicated to keeping children safe and families together by providing essential services at no cost to Nevada families. Through programs that focus on family support, early childhood education, behavioral health, and youth development, The Children’s Cabinet works to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

 

Each year, The Children’s Cabinet serves over 15,000 families across Nevada. From crisis intervention to long-term support, The Children’s Cabinet provides critical resources to families in need, including a 24/7 youth helpline, parenting classes, and mental health counseling for children and teens. These services not only strengthen families but also help build a healthier and more resilient community.

 

One of the organization’s most impactful programs is Redfield Academy, a fully accredited, tuition-free high school designed for students who face barriers to graduation. Redfield Academy provides a supportive and structured environment where students receive individualized academic support with low teacher-to-student ratios, and access to additional services including mental health counseling, basic needs support, and career readiness training to help them succeed.
